Brett & Leigh
Brett and Leigh are the founders, owners, and heartbeat of Revival Journals. Their passion to reach people with the message of redemption is the driving force behind the vision of our business.
They started Revival Journals (formerly Junk Town Revival) in 2014 and have given nearly 20,000 discarded books a new purpose. Their inspiring story can be found here:
Kandace is the Operations Manager at Revival Journals and currently earning her Mass Communications degree at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. In the last ten years she has worked extensively in pro-life ministry and political activism. She loves writing, riding bikes up Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles, and debating hard topics with fun people over strong coffee.
Kendal is a hair and makeup artist in Bossier City and active full time in kids and youth ministry at her church. Her goals are to continue growing her business and to have a family one day. She recently became engaged and will be married in the fall! She loves working on our team because she enjoys taking old things and making them new again.
Sebastian is from the North East coast but recently made his way to Shreveport where he serves as an intern at the adult Teen Challenge ministry, helping those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. He loves his ministry and enjoys teaching the Bible to his students and seeing lives transformed by the Gospel. He plans to go to Bible college and is currently pursuing his pastoral credentials. He also loves playing electric guitar, being creative and working with his hands on our journals.
Zack is the Content and Creative Manager at Revival Journals. He has an Associates Degree in Telecommunications with a concentration in Film. He currently is the head of media at Central Assembly of God in Haughton Louisiana, and frequently films, edits, and produces freelance projects locally and in Los Angeles. His work can be found on his website
He loves to skate, play bass, write film scripts and travel with his wife Morgan.
